Just a little loop-based-dub-out... recorded direct on Ableton 6 >as yet unmastered, so there are one or two "overwhelming" bits... I'll tidy it up sometime...

Just a little experiment... first of many to come, 'cuz they're so much fun! Made entirely with an acapella of the original track and a ringtone of said track... I enjoyed it...
This kinda music
Use it and you get amped to do shit
Whenever you hear some shit
And you can't refuse this
Just some shit
For these kids to trash their rooms with
Just refuse whenever they asked to do shit
The type of shit
That you don't have to ask who produced it
You just know
That's the new shit

An offering to the ZombiePornoCult- this is a little demo of a series of synth ,midi/audio effects racks I've made in Ableton... purdy-much everything you hear is 1 bass-drone getting slunted every-which-way...
>60BPM
It's still a work-in-progress...
my aim- The ULTIMATE BASS BARRAGE...
The reason I'm putting it up unfinished- hopefully you guys'll make me a few audio abstractions/breaks/lead lines to sprinkle over the top or something of a collaborative nature. 11:45 minutes (10.75 MB)

FB EDIT> as an online work-in-progress that has now been revised, this version has now been consigned to the bargain bin off-cuts category. 6:33 minutes (6 MB)
early days with this one , still lots of re-editing & sampling to do plus a few more channels of FX & sequencing to add to spice it up but thought id post it now so you can all observe the process of reworking as it moves thru the stages.
Ill also chop up the drum tacks, basslines & sequences into 8-16 bar wav loops & post them up as well in case anyone is keen to remix it for me into something more beautiful.

An old track I reworked and remastered. Im pretty happy with the mastering on this, the snares were heaps abrasive berfore. seem ok now plus samples were pretty dirty, Ithink it adds character though.
Hope you enjoy. would love to add a little bass if you have ideas share em. 4:02 minutes (7.39 MB)

A tribute to the hour of the bubble jug. Plus everyday I see the numbers 420. The days I dont see it something goes bad for me out of my control. So, I figure everytime I see it its a clue that Im going the right way. It has worked really well for me since I took notice about a year ago.
Hope you enjoy, was trying to get a vibe where everything is moving downwards, like when you sink into the lounge after a pipe but your mind speeds up. 4:21 minutes (5.96 MB)

Getcha geetarz and rock the funk out!!!
Basically the spawn of an instant-remix type filterbank I made... the track is off of one of those "practice your solo/lead-guitar over the backtrack" songs that come with music mags... I ripped it off of Peril when I was up there...
feel free to slice'n'dice her...
Peril- it's track#15 on that blues guitar disc I ripped for samples, if you wanna compare this space-rock re-hash to the original tune! 5:25 minutes (4.96 MB)

Just messin around with the reggae step remix but trying to find the angle to glitch it, plus once again bass is almost non existent. i dpont hate bass, just dont get it with non 4 on the floor. Which is rediculous because my music heritage for the better part of my life is as a bass player. I cant get a feel for programming non psy or core bass lines.
I wish I knew how to play drums, but, I cant be fucked learning aslong as computers are around. 2:23 minutes (4.36 MB)

Come across this song a while ago and loved just this bit, so I glitched it up and added the ak47 sounds. thats about it.
I cant credit the original people involved with this song, if anyone knows the name id love to know. 0:45 minutes (1.73 MB)

Eight-year-old Virginia O'Hanlon wrote a letter to the editor of New York's Sun, and the quick response was printed as an unsigned editorial Sept. 21, 1897. The work of veteran newsman Francis Pharcellus Church has since become history's most reprinted newspaper editorial, appearing in part or whole in dozens of languages in books, movies, and other editorials, and on posters and stamps.
"DEAR EDITOR: I am 8 years old.
"Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus.
"Papa says, 'If you see it in THE SUN it's so.'
"Please tell me the truth; is there a Santa Claus?
"VIRGINIA O'HANLON.
"115 WEST NINETY-FIFTH STREET."
VIRGINIA, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the skepticism of a skeptical age. They do not believe except [what] they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds, Virginia, whether they be men's or children's, are little. In this great universe of ours man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect, as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge.
Yes, VIRGINIA, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus. It would be as dreary as if there were no VIRGINIAS. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.
