Mutated Birthday Kongboree: Released into the wild...

All aboard...

'Tis that time again. It appears the universe is conspiring for a tasty little shin dig on the weekend of the 28th August.

A lush new venue has been lined up...

It is a private camp 26 kms from Tammy... directions for this weekend are here [url]. if you zoom into the map for the B destination you will notice a dashed line that goes off to the left - this is the dirt road into the camp.

Power, bunk beds, level camp sites, toilets, hot showers, kitchen and dining area, main hall (for wet weather), bush walking and abseiling...

$20/person/night. $5 for kids. Pretty reasonable for mine.

Some pics of the site are attached...

The camps a bit run down but will do the job. There are a few neighbours about a kilometre away so will have to adhere to local noise restrictions and move inside from midnight till 8am. The inside space being the meeting room (see attached). The photo is 1/2 of the room.

beat exploration

attached is a zipped propellerheads record file.

contains a couple of redrums and some effects. the combinator rotaries, mod and pitch do interesting things. i have 2 touch pads controlling r1, r4 and r2, r3, respectively. makes for some warped out fun. button 1 changes the beat from breaks (bass drums redrum 2) to 4/4 (bass drum redrum 1). messing with the redrum patches gives some instant randomness.
