all my images have disappeared help

any ideas , they were fine up until yesterday I think.

not sure what the crack is with this?..... i think it is the yahoo editor that is causing the problems. i will look into a better way of handling images. create a folder and uploading via ftp and linking manually should be failsafe...

problem seems to be with the yahoo editor. the method below works. when you create/edit a post open the File attachments tab. browse for the image and upload - this will take place without the page refreshing. once the file is uploaded it will be listed with the "list" button checked by default. un-check this (not mandatory) and copy the http:// path. then insert an image in the editor and paste the http:// path in image url. done... image gallery modules are available if you want to go down this track as well. let me know....

for the images that are missing, just ftp/copy them to http://www.mutated.biz/sites/default/files/ and they will work again. steve

yeah got them working ok now. now there is a problem with the yahoo editor only displaying in html code without showing the edit toolbar. Ill leave it for now though as im a bit over it & have enough up there for the moment to work with. dale
