hello fellow dismantlers/creators and of course the appreciators.
I got my first ever club gig as MisterMention playing dubstep, Im closing the party so I was asked to keep it energetic and danceable. I dont understand dance music and energetic, well I do, but what he's thinking Im thinking are 2 different schools of thought i.e. danceable and energetic. I like getting my groove on to fucked upness but different strokes.

Hahaha, That songs drives me nuts, its on like clockwork every hour.
Im the only step act, was going to mix a bit of grime in maybe sneak sound flashbulb in. The other music is going to be DnB.
thanks rog.
Found a guy in slsk with heaps of parson in FLAC. my fave stepper.
Cool!
Parson's excellent! Used to chat to him quite abit when there were only 20 or 30 ppl on dubstepforum... he was actually a potential candidate for Mutation Bass Station, but couldn't get his monies together in time... I also tried sending his old "tractor pull" demo to Mark N, Brownee and a few others, but it never went anywhere at that stage... funny how times change!
wicked
Im in the right direction. I always love how like minds are only a few degrees apart.
why dont you just play the presets
everyone likes them dont they??????
here with all of my people etc etc etc
lol... funny you should say that...
I couldn't stand 'em, but I bought the *blushes* Ministry Of Sound "Mashed 4" compilation (their latest offering- some pretty filthy 'lectro in there!) and have fallen in love with the remix of "The Boy's in Love" that's on there...

that's just off the top o' my dreads...
dun worry, tho... much to my dismay, it will all be a sell-out sound within the next 3-6 months... drop it while it's hot!
My dillemma (too many letters
My dillemma (too many letters in that word I think) is this, I really dig Dstep artists like boxcutter, parson and christine Vaccine to name a few. I was hoping to find some more commercial artists with that club sound so I can get some poontang. hehe. But seriously, Im after some more commercial sounds but not that full sellout sound.
Cheers.
